What the ideal Ahki Cannabis Technician candidate looks like:

We are seeking a team member that strives to live their life as their authentic self, who wants to work in a place where they are measured by their performance and their character rather than their lifestyle. We love to geek out about plants and technology and the living system their fusion creates. We value direct feedback from all team members and like to do hard things together with support, we encourage open debate and giving and receiving candid feedback. We are looking for a teammate that participates in open communication and works closely with teammates and supervisors. Our technicians are hands-on with the day-to-day functions of our harvest and post-harvest processes and the planning for our crop cycles.

Ahki Canna is a Native American and Black owned cannabis company in Michigan. We respect and value diversity in all aspects of life and business. Team members must enjoy working with other team members that come from all backgrounds of life, genders, race, and experiences and have a commitment to help further foster an open and positive sense of company culture.

Candidates should also have a problem-solving mentality and the ability to effectively communicate through the proper channels to find solutions.

We believe that Ahki Canna is a rewarding and enjoyable place to work. Team members have the ability to learn multiple aspects of the cannabis industry ranging from new industry technologies and best cultivation practices, to general business management and improvement tactics.

In all workplaces, there is a risk of contracting Covid 19. It is our business priority to keep our team members, families, friends, and stakeholders safe. A covid 19 vaccination is required to work at this facility. If you are not vaccinated, we can help provide access to the vaccine. Any unvaccinated employee without need for reasonable accommodation or protected reasons will not be allowed to work on-premises until the Covid 19 pandemic is over. Please consider this policy before you apply.
