Overview
The Association of Social Work Boards provides support and services to the social work regulatory community to advance safe, competent, and ethical practices to strengthen public protection.
The Candidate Services Specialist I provides support to candidates for exam registration and ASWB products via phone, chat, and online ticketing system (HelpDesk), and uses documented policies and standards to provide support to candidates regarding examination administration and other general topics related to the social work licensing exam. The Candidate Services Specialist I works independently to provide consistent and exemplary customer service to ASWB examination candidates. This is NOT a full-time remote work opportunity.
Key Qualifications, Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities
High school diploma with related-work experience; Associate or Bachelor's degree highly preferred
Two or more years' experience providing customer support via phone, preferably in a position handling a high volume of telephone calls
Experience providing online customer support, preferred
Proficiency in general computer skills and software applications including Microsoft Word, Excel, and Outlook
Data entry proficiency
