About NORY:

We nurture purposeful problem solvers by helping children develop core skills for the next generation: Resilience, Inquisitiveness, and Empathy. We use STEM and Entrepreneurship to provide a meaningful learning experience for children aged 3-12.

NORY Programs Overview:

• Summer Camps: In 2021, over 2000 campers participated in NORY summer camps in NYC. This opportunity does not take place in a school; you will be working at the NORY Office located near Penn Station & Times Square.

• Strong problem-solving skills with solid basic mathematics skills
• Clear written and verbal communication skills
• Strong memory and attention to detail
• Motivated to problem solve, develop new systems, and grow with the position
• Artistic creativity is a plus

Responsibilities Include:

• Preparing enrichment program materials (arts & crafts and engineering materials)
• Maintaining office organization for efficient operations

Requirements:

• Familiarity with city navigation to perform occasional material deliveries
• No experience necessary, but comfortability with operating power tools
• Ability to stand, bend over, walk, etc., for long periods of time
• Ability to lift 20+ lbs

Work Schedule:

• Flexible hours (we prefer regular hours, 20-25 hours per week)

Compensation:

• $17 per hour
