Description
Position Summary: To increase sales and market share of Flooring and surfacing products in addition to achieving territory sales goals in accordance with annual business plan. This position also requires knowledge and understanding of sales, marketing and administrative duties as well as being a self-starter with entrepreneurial spirit. This position has a focus on developing the residential market. Awesome manager. 100% of medical, dental & vision premiums paid by company.
Role Description:
• Focus on the residential market: Kitchen & Bath Dealers and Retail Flooring stores.
• Interface with Territory Manager in your territory to align strategy to gain market share in the residential market.
• Work with individual customers to support, guide and drive sales growth.
• Gain thorough understanding of market dynamics and activities within our industry (HI-MACS solid surface, Viatera quartz, Teracanto porcelain, and HFLOR flooring) and among key competitors.
• Establish management relations with key customers to gain preferred share position.
• Implement sales, marketing and warranty programs efficiently and effectively.
• Work with others in a team environment.
• Interface with your local team or Alpharetta, GA Corporate Office as required.
• Handle administrative tasks related to the management and operation of your individual territory.
Essential Duties & Responsibilities:
• Collaborate with Territory Manager (s) to reach annual sale goals according to agreed-upon budgets.
• Gain market share and "share of mind" among indep. kitchen & bath and designers, fabricators, and architects & designers.
• Understand, communicate and implement adoption and use of Salesforce.
• Collect and report competitive intelligence within our industry and among our key product competitors.
• Ensure customer satisfaction throughout value chain through reliable customer service, delivery/supply and complaint issues (warranty and others).
• Build key customer relationships and trust among top customers within region.
Requirements
Qualifications: Listed below are the minimum and/or desired qualifications of the position including education, work experience and knowledge & skills that are required to perform satisfactorily in the position:
Education and Work Experience:
• Undergraduate degree in business or related field preferred but not required.
• At least 2 years minimum experience representing lvt Flooring and surfacing products preferred.
• Direct experience working with fabricators, kitchen dealers/ remodelers, and architects/designers preferred.
Knowledge and Skills:
• Excellent oral and written communication and organization skills.
• Excellent Microsoft office skills (excel, word, PowerPoint and Outlook).
• Excellent selling skills and strong marketing knowledge.
• Energy and focus to achieve goals and be result orientated.
• Ability to think and work independently.
• Ability to be a team player, working with others for a common goal.
Physical Demands:
• Position requires regular interaction with customers and clients.
• Position requires minimal lifting up to 45 lbs.
• Position requires regular and reliable attendance.
• Position requires travel up to 80% of time in territory.
