Description: AMHC is recruiting for part-time positions at our Call Center in Presque Isle. These Call Specialists are the first point of contact for many individuals requesting information and services, therefore must be engaging, welcoming, and patient while interfacing with individuals through a variety of communication methods. These individuals will be answering all phone calls, texts, and chats for Aroostook, Hancock, and Washington Counties. This candidate will be expected to demonstrate the core values of AMHC by showing Integrity, Compassion, Excellence, Service, Collaboration, and Respect to co-workers, clients, and community members
Qualifications:
- An Associate’s Degree in the Human Services related or Education field is required
- MHRT-CSP certification is required to carry out the assigned responsibilities of the position. The MHRT-CSP training will be provided by the agency upon hire.
- Ability to maintain a flexible schedule and work evenings and weekends as needed.
Responsibilities & Expectations:
- Answer and intervene with all communication and requests received through Mobile Crisis Dispatch
- Dispatch the Mobile Crisis Team.
- Track all emergency evaluations that are occurring within the three-county catchment area.
- Assess the treatment and level of care needs of clients calling, by triaging and assisting with necessary referrals.
- Complete all administrative tasks as assigned.
- Educate staff and the community about Emergency Services, resources, and options available, and how to access them.
Qualifications:
- A high school diploma or equivalent is required.
- Ability to maintain a flexible schedule and work evenings and weekends as needed.
