The IRL East Florida Division (EFD) Central Microbiology Laboratory supports 14 HCA facilities in the East Florida Division as well as multiple HCA hospitals in the FL panhandle, Georgia and South Carolina. In addition, the EFD Central Microbiology Lab supports a large network of outreach clients across south Florida, the US, and several international clients. Our beautiful state of the art laboratory is open 24/7 and performs 1M tests annually.

Job Summary and Qualifications

Seeking a Call Center Core Lab Representative to provide expertise and champion results. We are an amazing team that works hard to support each other and are seeking a phenomenal addition like you who feels the patient experience is as meaningful as we do.

You Will:

• Provide front line client support to facilitate laboratory information exchange through handling of incoming and outgoing telephone interaction as well as thorough documentation of such interactions.
• Assist in the set up of new accounts providing pricing information to new clients.
• Dispatch phlebotomists across Miami/Ft. Lauderdale for requested appointments.
• Deliver critical results to clinicians and the state of FL.
• Perform duties consistent with written procedures and regulatory requirements.
• Support the department in achieving department goals for service, quality, regulatory compliance, financial performance, patient satisfaction, healthy work environment, and integration of intra and inter-departmental activities.

You Should Have:

• A High School or GED required
• Vocational/Technical diploma preferred
• 1-3 years of Call Center experience
