Call Center Receptionist

Reports To: Practice Director

Location: Philadelphia, PA (Rittenhouse Square)

Description of Medical Practice: Growing, 10 year old women's primary care and gynecology practice with a beautiful office located in the prestigious Rittenhouse Square area of Philadelphia. Practice environment is characterized by a high commitment to exceptional patient care, spending appropriate time to get to know your patients, EMR system, a patient base of professional women (over 85% have college degrees or higher and are employed; 10% are current college or graduate students). Our staff includes registered dieticians, PhD. Psychologists, Nurse Practitioners and Aestheticians. Our other staff includes medical assistants, front desk receptionists and a marketing/communications director. Our employees pride themselves in improvement and efficiency, and office harmony.

Requirements: Minimum 1 year experience as Medical Receptionist;

Responsibilities:

· Scheduling of all patient/clients appointments;

· Verifying insurance;

· Develop and maintain superior levels of patient/client satisfaction through the continuous process of high quality service;

· Act as liaison between physician and all other professionals in the wellness center - Resolves patient problems quickly, efficiently, and courteously;

· Maintained effective communication with all staff;

· Collection of co-pays and other payments;

· Operate multi-line phone system;

· Daily cash reporting;

· Maintain filing systems;

· Assist practice manager as directed;

· Maintains patient confidence as set forth by HIPAA and protects organization reputation by keeping information confidential; enforcing legal requirements

Required Shifts: Tuesdays and Thursday from 8am to 4pm with PRN shifts. There is growth potential for employees looking to move into a full time role

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: From $16.00 per hour

Schedule:

• 8 hour shift
• Weekends as needed

Experience:

• Medical office: 1 year (Required)
