SalaryJOB DESCRIPTION:
- Mechanical concept and design of specialized inspection gages to include hand apply gages, fixture gages and fully automated robotically loaded gages for a variety of mechanical parts.
- Specification and line-up information presented by Engineering Manager.
- Collaborate with other Cad designers to develop and refine mechanical gage designs.
- Review and modify existing designs based on customer requirements.
REQUIREMENTS:
- Proven experience (minimum of 5 years) in mechanical design.
- Sound knowledge of Geometric Dimensioning and Tolerancing (GD&T).
- Strong proficiency in 2D AutoCAD or 3D AutoCAD Inventor software.
- Strong problem-solving skills and ability to work in a deadline driven environment.
- Strong organizational skills and the ability to handle multiple projects simultaneously.
