We are hiring for a Business Systems Analyst who will play a critical role in supporting EP Wealth Advisors' mission by optimizing and enhancing our enterprise-wide Business Systems. This individual will collaborate closely with various stakeholders to understand business requirements, streamline processes, and implement technology solutions that drive operational efficiency and client satisfaction. Salary Range: $100,000 - $130,000 plus annual bonus
Remote in the U.S. (preferably West Coast hours)
Duties and Responsibilities:
- Requirements Gathering and Analysis:
- Engage with stakeholders across different departments to elicit and analyze business needs and objectives.
- Conduct comprehensive analysis of existing business processes and systems to identify opportunities for improvement.
- Document clear and concise business requirements, user stories, and functional specifications.
- System Design and Architecture:
- Work closely with IT teams and external vendors to design scalable and sustainable enterprise Business Systems.
- Collaborate on system architecture and data models that align with EP Wealth Advisors' business strategy and regulatory requirements.
- Ensure system designs adhere to industry best practices and security standards.
- Solution Development and Implementation:
- Participate in the evaluation, selection, and customization of enterprise software solutions, including financial planning tools, portfolio management systems, tax preparation systems, etc..
- Develop and manage user stories for business applications to meet specific business needs and integrations.
- Collaborate with development and stakeholder teams to ensure successful implementation and seamless integration of systems.
- System Maintenance and Support:
- Provide ongoing support and maintenance for enterprise Business Systems, including troubleshooting issues and implementing enhancements.
- Conduct regular system audits and performance monitoring to identify areas for optimization and improvement.
- Act as a subject matter expert and provide training and guidance to end-users on system functionality and best practices.
- Stakeholder Communication and Collaboration:
- Foster strong relationships with stakeholders at all levels of the organization to ensure alignment of business and technology objectives.
- Facilitate communication and collaboration between business users, IT teams, and external partners throughout the project lifecycle.
- Solicit feedback from end-users and stakeholders to continuously improve system functionality and usability.
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, Business Administration, or a related field.
- 5 years of experience as a Business Systems Analyst or similar role, preferably in the financial services industry.
- Strong understanding of wealth management processes, including financial planning, investment management, and client relationship management.
- Proficiency in requirements gathering, documentation, and analysis techniques.
- Hands-on experience with enterprise software solutions such as Tamarac, portfolio accounting systems, tax preparation software, integrations with a CRM.
- Excellent communication, collaboration, and problem-solving skills.
- Ability to work independently, prioritize tasks, and manage multiple projects simultaneously.
