MDVIP, based in Boca Raton, FL is seeking a Business Systems Analyst who will serve as the key liaison between business users and technical teams, gathering business requirements, translating them into functional specifications that are implemented by vendors and technical teams. This role reports to the Manager of DevOps & Digital Solutions and supports the IT team.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities - Other duties may be assigned.
- Use process optimization methodologies to streamline business processes in preparation for system automation.
- Use project management methodologies to manage operational support, business enhancements, and projects in support of implementing technology solutions.
- Use quality assurance methodologies to ensure technology solutions are being delivered with high quality and lowered operational risk.
- Perform analysis and prepares business cases with the end users to articulate the business value of the project prior to development. May be required to complete application configuration for small enhancements.
- Maintain system protocols by writing and updating operating procedures.
- Convey business requirements to technical teams using tools such as logical diagrams, use cases, Visio process flows, data samples, and functional requirements documents.
- Use technical skills and background to collaborate closely with application developers to deliver solutions that meet the highest business and technical standards.
Education:
Required:
- Bachelor’s degree in computer science, Management Information Systems, or equivalent studies/relevant work experience where two years related experience equals one year of schooling.
- Background in Software Development Life Cycle (SDLC) to be able to manage or perform development duties
Preferred:
- Planned training in Business Process Optimization/Business Process Excellence (e.g. Six Sigma)
- Planned training or certification in Project Management (i.e. PMP)
- Relevant experience in similar roles to this one (e.g. Business Analyst, Project Manager, Systems Analyst, Quality Assurance).
Qualifications and Experience:
Required:
- Strong leadership and communication skills (clear and concise), strong business acumen combined with solid analytical/problem solving skills
- Sufficient technical skills to monitor and challenge the deliverables of development teams. May be required to perform hands-on-programming occasionally
- Self-starter, fast learner, adaptable to work in a dynamic and fast paced work environment.
- Ability to work independently and multi-task / managing multiple projects (or components) simultaneously
Preferred:
- Previous experience in a consulting or customer facing organization is a plus
- Healthcare industry experienceCRM (preferably Salesforce)
- CRM experience (preferably Salesforce)
