The Business Analyst is the key interface for items within the Loan Originations System, CORE systems and process at S3 Shared Service Solutions, LLC. This role represents the requirement to keep the Velocity, DNA and Indirect applications within the scope and desired intention of the application. The Business Analyst is responsible for Consumer Lending applications administration, design, and system support for S3, credit union systems and implementation teams. The Business Analyst is responsible for working with S3 and Credit Union business units to analyze system processes and recommend solutions and goals to improve productivity. This position is also responsible for business line representation surrounding implementation of new systems, partnering with impacted teams within Consumer Lending to understand priorities for development considerations and driving to needed results. Testing and validation of anticipated results while exploring solutions to achieve results. Also includes any ancillary system releases, updates, enhancements, product implementation, testing, maintenance and problem resolution, and quality assurance. Additionally, the Business Analyst ensures operational and administrative effectiveness for security services within S3 including policy, security access administration, security audit scheduling, tracking and reporting, compliance awareness, and operational soundness. PRIMARY RESPONSIBILITIES/ACCOUNTABILITIES

•Performs systems administration functions with regards to origination systems and related components (FISERV, Identifi, Origence, CRIF, etc.)

•Ensures Service Level Agreements are met daily and escalates to management when necessary

•Administers system, process, and product setup with business units in conjunction with Fiserv, OTS, and other vendors as needed

•Participates in implementation of Fiserv and ancillary system product and process upgrades to identify cross functional impacts

•Support automation and modernization enhancements in staging and validating samples

•Facilitates and assists in user testing for system upgrades and new product and processes and establishes robust test scripts and validation as needed while translating business needs into possible system solutions

•Reviews applicable items in the Footprints and/or email queues, resolves & documents applicable requests, and ensures follow-through if the request is forwarded to another entity

•Provides responsive, timely support to all DNA and Velocity end-user questions and support requests

•Translates business needs into Velocity origination and DNA system solutions with an understanding of the Consumer Lending department goals

•Maintains data integrity within the Consumer Lending systems

•Takes direction from others in analyzing and solving software product issues and problems

•Documents knowledge base of techniques and operational assistance documents for all components of Velocity and related systems/functionality

•Learns and documents any/all global settings within the application and the differences of each CU that S3 supports

•Alert Management to issues of concern

•Represents S3 on collaborative teams (at Management’s direction)

•Makes recommendations to Management re: improvements, change control, process flows, work queues, etc.

•Maintains an adequate level of knowledge of the operating system, ancillary systems, and application software being used to provide a high level of support to users (SME)

•Monitors and evaluates the efficiency of software/hardware usage, provide items to be covered in training of users to make them more efficient as well as develop new enhancements/recommendations to improve production and workflow

•Serves as a liaison with internal partners on future releases e.g. Compliance-CFPB changes, regulatory and Training, etc.

•Other duties as assigned

QUALIFICATIONS/ABILITIES

•Associate degree preferred

•Must have the ability to recognize problems or issues when they arise by using judgment that is consistent with standards, practices, policies, procedures, or regulations

•Minimum of 1-2 years of experience working with FISERV preferred. IT/System experience with system testing, participating in collaborative calls, understanding/developing process flows, discussing/understanding upgrades and enhancements, exploring options to support efficiencies required

•Ability to be tactical and partner on strategic efforts

•Excellent communication, analytical, and problem-solving skills are required to work effectively with all levels of management and staff

•Ability to respond to changing priorities, and enjoyment of fast-paced, dedicated, technically challenging work environment

•Must be able to complete deliverables as assigned, recognize roadblocks and adjust efforts to successfully support system go lives, enhancements and implementations

•Must have a forward-thinking approach and be flexible in a changing environment

•Ability to prioritize and manage multiple tasks simultaneously and follow through on issues in a timely manner based on department requirements and customer needs

•Proficient in MS Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook)

•Strong communication skills, both verbal and written

•Excellent customer service skills with a high attention to detail

•Ability to work flexible hours as needed

•Ability to multi-task in other areas of the unit

•Aptitude to work independently as well as part of a team

•Positive attitude and team-oriented

•Excellent time management with the ability to analyze a product or process and make recommendations for improvement

•Strong leadership skills

  • Salary range is targeted to be in the range of $45,000.00 to $55,000.00 depending on qualifications.
