Job Overview:
The Business Sales Development Associate will be a crucial member of our sales team, responsible for identifying and pursuing new business opportunities and generating leads. With a focus on prospecting and lead generation, you will play a pivotal role in driving revenue growth and increasing our market share.
Responsibilities:
1. Conduct thorough market research to identify potential clients, industry trends, and competitors' activities.
2. Build and maintain a strong network of industry contacts to generate new business leads and initiate sales discussions.
3. Perform outbound prospecting activities, including cold calling, email outreach, and social media engagement, to open doors with potential customers.
4. Qualify leads through effective questioning techniques, understanding customer pain points, and determining their potential fit for our products/services.
5. Collaborate closely with the sales team to develop strategies and create compelling sales presentations to win new clients.
6. Deliver persuasive sales pitches and product demonstrations to decision-makers, articulating the value proposition and differentiators of our offerings.
7. Nurture and manage leads throughout the sales process, ensuring timely follow-ups and consistent communication to move opportunities through the sales pipeline.
8. Maintain accurate and up-to-date records of customer interactions, sales activities, and progress using CRM software.
9. Collaborate with marketing teams to contribute to the development of effective sales and marketing collateral.
10. Stay informed about industry developments, competitor activities, and emerging market opportunities to provide valuable insights and maximize sales potential.
Qualifications:
1. Proven track record of success in a sales or business development role, preferably in a B2B environment.
2. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build strong relationships with clients and internal stakeholders.
3. Strong organizational and time management skills, with the ability to prioritize tasks and meet deadlines.
4. Self-motivated and driven, with a proactive approach to prospecting and lead generation.
5. Analytical mindset to understand customer needs, market dynamics, and industry trends.
6. Proficient in using CRM software and other sales tools to track and manage the sales pipeline.
7. Experience in Mental Health and/or Medical Practices is a plus.
8. Willingness to travel as required to attend industry events, trade shows, and customer meetings. Travel is 80-90%.
