Business Project Manager

Objectives of this role

• Strategize, implement, and maintain program initiatives that adhere to organization objectives
• Develop program assessment protocols for evaluation and improvement
• Maintain organizational standards of satisfaction, quality and performance
• Oversee multiple project teams, ensuring program goals are reached
• Manage budget and customer quoting process for maximum productivity
• Proactively explore new business opportunities

Responsibilities

• Work closely with project sponsor, cross-functional teams, and assigned Project Managers to develop the scope, deliverables, required resources, work plan, budget, and timing for new initiatives
• Manage program and project teams for optimal return on investment, and coordinate and delegate cross-project initiatives
• Identify key requirements for cross-functional team and external vendors
• Develop and manage budget for projects and be accountable for delivering against established business goals/objectives
• Work with other program managers to identify risks and opportunities across multiple projects within the department
• Analyze, evaluate, and overcome program risks, and produce program reports for managers and stakeholders
• Manage multiple, sophisticated client RFP/RFQ process as well as contract negotiation and design change-incurred fee changes
• Reach out to new customers and explore business opportunities

Required skills and qualifications

• Five or more years of experience in Global Supply Chain-management or sales role, preferably in program management-involved activities
• Exceptional skills in coordination/facilitation, leadership, project management, budgeting and time/people management, facilitation and organization
• Experience in managing cross-functional stakeholders
• Experience in proposal/RFQ writing and business contract review
• Working knowledge of BOM structure and RFP/RFQ process management

Preferred skill and qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree (or equivalent) in business administration or engineering
• Knowledgeable of manufacturing processes for consumer electronics products
• Fluency in Mandarin Chinese (oral and written)
