The Business Operations Specialist is responsible for overseeing and leading the sales and operations activities to improve productivity and effectiveness within the Business Services department. This role will support the frontline sales team by providing product support and managing sales data regarding financial services and cashflow tools, as well as managing various administrative tasks required to ensure department reaches sales goals while providing exceptional service to business Members.
Essential Functions:
    • Responsible for total Member experience in all business account services operations while managing the day-to-day Member experience.
    • Provide exceptional service to both internal and external Members.
    • Proactively take ownership of issues and work closely with the Business Sales Advisors and Members through resolution, delivering a high-quality Member experience.
    • Educate, support, and assist businesses with business products and services.
    • Maintain in-depth product knowledge on all business deposit accounts, products, and services.
    • Research and resolve complex deposit issues, including questions regarding business deposit accounts, account analysis, merchant services, payroll, RDC, ACH and Wires, business online banking, and positive pay.
    • Support and enable frontline sales teams to sell more efficiently and effectively by providing strategic direction and reducing friction in the sales process.
    • Evaluate existing processes and procedures and provide recommendations for improvement of Member and internal team member interactions with the deposit operations team, products, and services.
    • Work with marketing to organize and maintain sales collateral for access by the sales team.
    • Report sales and campaign results to senior management and other departments as needed.
    • Analyze market trends and competitors' products to provide feedback to VP/Business Account Services.
    • Resolve problems through analysis of data, identification of root cause(s), evaluation of options, rendering of decisions, and implementation of action.
    • Ensure compliance with pertinent government rules and regulations.
Minimum Qualifications:
    • Thorough knowledge of business deposit accounts products and services.
    • Effective communication and training skills.
    • Excellent interpersonal skills and the ability to maintain credibility and engender trust.
    • Exceptional organizational skills including project and pipeline management.
    • Skill in operating a personal computer and word processing, spreadsheet, and presentation software.
    • Strong analytical skills with the ability to analyze problems and opportunities, identify and evaluate alternatives, and develop sound, effective approaches.
    • Ability to plan, implement, and evaluate the achievement of strategic and business plan goals, objectives, and work plans.
Physical Requirements:
    • Ability to stand, bend, stoop, sit, walk, twist, and turn.
    • Ability to lift up to 25 pounds occasionally.
    • Ability to use all modern office equipment.
    • Work environment is indoors; majority of time is spend sitting at a desk.
Education/Experience:
The ideal candidate has a combination of education and experience equivalent to a bachelor's degree in business administration, finance, or a closely related field with a minimum of three (3) years' experience in business services and products operations. 

Compensation:  Base starting range: $40.00 to $50.00 per hour commensurate with experience.

Our base salary starting range is based on scope and responsibilities of the position, candidate's work experience, education/training, key skills, and internal peer equity.
