Position Summary:
Florida Atlantic University is seeking a Business Office Fiscal Assistant - Boca Raton, FL.
This position will support the Business Office. In addition, this position will provide cross-functional assistance in the finance and administrative areas, utilizing software such as Microsoft Office, Banner, LeapAhead, Frevvo, Power BI, WebFocus OnBase, etc. Job responsibilities will encompass both routine and non-routine tasks.
Summary of Responsibilities:
- Process and file various Graduate College Business Office forms.
- Provide analysis and reconciliation on tuition and insurance waiver usage with the use of Power BI, and/or other tools.
- Provide general and clerical support.
- Create and maintain Frevvo forms.
- Verify the accuracy of students' waivers in accordance with the Tuition and Benefit Policy.
- Communicate with graduate students and various departments.
- Assist with event setup (as needed).
- Perform other job-related duties as assigned.

Minimum Qualifications:
Bachelor's degree or higher from an accredited institution in an appropriate area of specialization and two years of appropriate experience required.
Preferred Qualifications/Skills:
Excellent time management, organizational skills, the ability to maintain confidentiality, and work with large Excel files.
The ideal candidate must be self-motivated, detail-oriented, flexible about daily responsibilities assigned.
Ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
Ability to work well independently and as part of a team.
Effective problem-solving and active listening skills, and critical thinking skills.
Salary:
$16.00 - $18.00 per hour.
