The Business Intelligence and Analytics Internship will be responsible for assisting in the analysis and interpretation of complex data sets and developing actionable insights that will influence business decisions. They will work closely with cross-functional teams to ensure timely delivery of high-quality reports and dashboards.
Essential functions of the job include but are not limited to:
- Assist in the development and maintenance of Business Intelligence reports and dashboards using tools such as Power BI, Tableau, and Excel.
- Collaborate with stakeholders across the organization to understand data needs and requirements for business analysis and decision-making.
- Analyze large and complex data sets, identify trends and patterns, and develop actionable insights and recommendations.
- Assist in the preparation of presentations and reports for senior management, including data visualizations and executive summaries.
- Participate in data quality and data governance initiatives to ensure the accuracy and integrity of data used in reports and dashboards.
- Stay up-to-date with industry trends, best practices, and emerging technologies in Business Intelligence and Analytics.

Qualifications:
Minimum Required:
- Currently pursuing a degree in Business, Computer Science, Information Systems, or a related field.
Other Required:
- Strong analytical skills and ability to work with large and complex data sets.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Excel
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Self-motivated and able to work independently, as well as collaboratively with cross-functional teams.
The anticipated salary for this position is $20.00/hr. Not all candidates will be eligible for the upper end of the salary range. The exact salary will ultimately depend on multiple factors, which may include the successful candidate's skills, experience, geography, and qualifications as well as the candidate's location of residence. In addition to base salary, some roles may be eligible for a variable bonus based on a combination of company performance, employee performance, and/or equity depending on the position offered.
