Encova Insurance will have a need for an Intern, Analytics for our Columbus, Ohio office. Ideally, we would like a student who can start early 2024 working part-time and then move into a full-time summer internship working at least 40 hours per week. Start and end dates will be based on availability and business need. In this role, you will work a hybrid schedule.
This role will report to Director, Product Analytics.

As an intern in our Analytics divisions, you'll work side-by-side with experienced analysts who will help translate your classroom knowledge into a strong, practical foundation.
Potential Projects Include:
Work with SAS, SQL, and/or R to clean, understand, and analyze data to allow for actionable decisions. Work with business intelligence tools such as Tableau to help visualize data and turn it into an asset for business partners. Sit with business partners to understand data and business needs.
Majors Preferred: Statistics, Mathematics, Economics and Computer Science.
We are looking for self-motivated candidates to become part of our internship program who possess a strong mathematical and technical aptitude, excellent written and verbal communication skills, and an ability to convey technical information to non-technical audiences. Sophomore and junior level candidates preferred. (Must have completed at least 60 credit hours)
