SalaryInternship Responsibilities: The intern will be responsible for improving the quality of data used by the company to determine the utility costs associated with particular network sites, network technologies and the associated customer accounts. The intern‘s work will contribute to the company's strategy for reducing energy and carbon emissions and improving sustainability.
What special projects will the intern be completing?: The intern will be working to expand and verify the company's data regarding network sites and associated utility meter information. This activity will be carried out using a combination of data tools, GIS tools and site visits as required.
Required Qualifications: At least a rising junior in an undergraduate program or graduate student; Coursework or work experience related to engineering and/or sustainability; strong written and verbal communication skills, professional communications including phone calls, emails and in-person interactions; Proficiency in common software programs including Microsoft Office products (word, excel, PowerPoint), and web based tools; Experience/proficiency manipulating and analyzing data and creating charts, tables and graphics; experience with Power BI is plus but not required. Must be a licensed driver. While guidance will be available the candidate should be self-directed.
Preferred Qualifications: Experience with data acquisition & analysis; Pursuit of a science, business analytics, or engineering degree.
