We are embarking on a new chapter of expansion and strategic development, particularly in the Wichita region, which is extending into western Kansas. We are looking for a motivated and strategic-minded Business Development Representative to join our team.

As a Business Development Representative, you will drive our growth and presence in the Wichita region and beyond. Your role will include:

We are looking for a motivated and strategic-minded Business Development Representative to join our team.
What You'll Do:
As a Business Development Representative, you will drive our growth and presence in the Wichita region and beyond. Your role will include:
- Strategic Planning: Collaborate with leadership to develop and implement strategic plans that align with company objectives.
- Market Analysis and Expansion: Conduct comprehensive market analysis to identify new opportunities for growth. Define and execute strategies for expanding our market share and establishing a dominant presence in key sectors.
- Client Relationship Management: Develop and maintain strong relationships with existing and potential clients. Understand the many intertwined services provided by our company, as well as the needs and challenges of clients to better align our services with their objectives. A desire to become acquainted with and assist in applying for, available public works project grants.
- Team Collaboration: Work closely with marketing and project management teams to ensure a cohesive and effective approach to Business Development.
- Proposal Development: Contribute to the preparation of compelling proposals, presentations, and pitches to secure new business opportunities.
- Performance Tracking: Report on the success of Business Development activities, adjusting strategies as necessary to meet targets.
- Travel: Availability to travel regularly and occasionally make overnight stays for Business Development opportunities and conferences. Attendance at industry trade shows and conferences with the ability to network with individuals as well as in group settings.

Qualifications
What You'll Need:
- Minimum 5 years of experience in Business Development, marketing, or a similar role, preferably within the Civil Engineering field.
- Strong understanding of the Wichita and western Kansas market landscapes.
- Excellent oral and written communication skills with the ability to develop and guide virtual and in-person presentations.
- Proven track record of meeting or exceeding Business Development targets.
- Ability to work collaboratively across teams and with all levels of management.
What We Prefer:
- Experience in the Civil Engineering field.
- Established network in the Wichita and western Kansas business communities.
- Familiarity with CRM software and Microsoft Office Suite.
