Business Development Representative – Construction Restoration Firm – Base Salary to 100k/year – New York City, NY
- Our client, an exterior Restoration Firm that is headquartered in Newark but works primarily in the city is in the market for a Business Development Representative as they continue their accelerated growth. The organization is a minority-owned, eco-conscious, general and specialty contractor serving the tri-state area. Our client is looking for someone that has established relationships with building owners, property managers, architects and engineers.
Responsibilities:
- Actively build relationships with building owners, property owners, engineers and architects that turn into business.
- Employ a consultative sales approach that deals with exterior building products and works with clients to develop the right plans
- Strong understanding of negotiations and closing working with construction projects in NYC
- Understand target applications, customers/ecosystem, building & validating strategies, and subsequently executing them to enable profitable growth.
- Demonstrate structured thinking, mapping of applications to customers and regions, rigor in measuring revenue/pipeline.
Qualifications
- 6+ years of experience in exterior construction sales development with relationships in NYC
- Strong understanding of NYC construction practices with emphasis of masonry, roofing, facades, parking garages, sidewalk repair, scaffolding and Landmark preservation.
- Ability to sell and close new business.
Compensation:
- Base salary to 100k/year, flexible dependent on experience. Our client is open to negotiation.
