Position Summary
We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Telecom Business Development Manager to join our sales team. The ideal candidate will have a proven track record of generating new business, expanding existing customer relationships, and driving sales growth within the telecommunications industry. This is a full-time, 100% remote position.
Candidates will be responsible for developing new business opportunities using their network of business contacts and building market position through referrals, prospecting, and following up on marketing-generated leads. Strong knowledge of telecom products, services, and solutions is a must, as well as a proven track record of achieving sales targets and building successful business relationships.

Compensation
- $45,000 to $65,000 base, plus commission

Responsibilities and Duties
- Identify, develop, and manage new business opportunities within the telecom industry
- Manage a complex sales cycle with multiple decision-makers and present cost-benefit analyses to executives.
- Build and maintain strong relationships with key decision-makers in the industry
- Collaborate with internal teams to develop and execute sales strategies to achieve business objectives
- Create and deliver presentations to customers that effectively communicate our products and services
- Negotiate contracts and close deals with customers
- Provide regular sales reports and updates to management
- Conduct market research to identify new trends and opportunities in the industry
Knowledge/Skills/Abilities, and Experience
- Excellent communication skills with the ability to interact with C-level resources and their staff.
- Strong knowledge of telecom products, services, and solutions
- Proven track record of achieving sales targets and building successful business relationships
- Excellent communication, negotiation, and presentation skills
- Ability to work independently and collaboratively with cross-functional teams
- Established track record selling through a complex and lengthy sales cycle with multiple influencers and decision-makers.
- Two+ years of telecom sales or pre-sales experience.
- Experience using Microsoft, Zoom Meetings, or similar platforms for presenting and selling in a remote environment to business owners, executives, and CFOs.
- CRM Experience with entering and maintaining a sales pipeline
- Experience selling Avaya or similar VoIP solutions
