Job Summary:
As a Business Development Manager (BDM) I, you will be responsible for executing activities to build engagement and generate selling opportunities. This is an excellent role for someone eager to build upon their SaaS Sales career with a team that sets ambitious goals and has an exciting track record to build on.
Duties & Responsibilities:
- Cold call, email, and outreach to identify and close new business
- Multi-step, multi-channel outbound sequences to a targeted pool of prospects and existing customers
- Measure account and prospect-level engagement to prioritize other targeted outreach that includes custom messaging based on ICP, persona, etc.
- Multi-step, multi-channel outbound sequences to a targeted pool of prospects and existing customers
- Follow-up on leads provided by lead generation activities including marketing campaigns, trade shows and other company efforts
- Research assigned accounts to build critical data on the account (contacts, initiatives, triggers, news, talk tracks and other relevant account details)
- Update Hubspot (or other sales tracking system) daily to ensure accurate, complete and up to date sales activity reporting is available
- Achieve and exceed revenue quotas
- 6-12 months of SaaS sales representative experience with a track record of exceeding your goals
- Are a storyteller with impeccable written and verbal communication skills, who thrives in a high-pressure, competitive environment
- Have a natural curiosity to understand the how, the why, and the impact of customer's challenges
- Understand automation platforms and can use them efficiently (ie. HubSpot, Salesforce, etc.)
- Are a great contributor to team culture and in helping to drive ideas to improve efficiency and effectiveness in everything we do
- Are self-motivated, highly organized, coachable, with a hunger to grow your career in the technology industry
