 Position Summary:
 This role is responsible for:

  • Improving ADT Commercial's market position in the Fire & Life Safety industry and achieving financial growth.
  • Developing strategic account plans and evaluating which clients within assigned territory are essential to ADT Commercial's growth.

Fostering strong business relationships and creating a level of trust within market mover construction projects and at the national accounts and local district level. 


 Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Identify and connect with top Owners, Developers, CMARS, and Owner rep firms to build preferred teaming agreements in assigned markets.  
  • Identify and connect with top MEP firms, FPE firms, and Architects to build preferred teaming agreements in assigned markets.
  • Identify and connect with top GC/EC to build preferred teaming agreements in assigned markets.
  • Coordinate introductions between GC/EC and Local District leadership.
  • Field in-bound RFPs in the Fire & Life Safety industry across Enterprise, Core Commercial and National Account opportunities.
  • Partner with vertical market BDM's on new opportunities and support hand-offs to sales and account management teams.
  • Build new relationships with vertical-specific and regional sourcing teams to present service offerings.
  • Assist NAMs in cross-selling to their existing clients that are included in end-user and vertical market portfolios.
  • Support new client set-up by negotiated terms, work order management, and customer playbook
  • Support existing National and Local district customer account management
  • Drive Core Commercial, Enterprise National Account sales in the Fire & Life Safety industry.
  • Develop end user and engineer business strategy around long term construction projects that drive ADTC market penetration and growth.

MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS (EDUCATION, SKILLS & EXPERIENCE):

  • Minimum of 10 years of industry-specific Fire Alarm & Life Safety experience.
  • At least 5 years of experience in key leadership roles.
  • Proven, successful track record in large construction projects and start-ups.
  • Establish business direction and execute strategy development and implementation.
  • Lead a significant business unit of similar size; scope, design, and implement business solutions to build/grow a market.
  • Influence business decisions in a highly matrixed organization.
  • Exceed predetermined revenue share and customer obsession objectives.
  • Must have exceptional business acumen and in-depth knowledge of the industry and the market to identify opportunities and translate them into actionable plans.
  • Must possess excellent composure, high level presentation skills, and fluency in building relationships.
  • Ability to travel up to 50% of the time
  • NICET preferred
  • NFPA CFPS preferred
  • Bachelor's degree in related field of discipline or equivalent experience preferred

WORK ENVIRONMENT:

  • The noise level in the work environment is usually moderate.
  • Normal office/field environment.

Must be able to work extended hours to support timelines.
PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS:

  • While performing the duties of this job, the employee is occasionally required to stand, walk, sit; twist, use hands to handle, push, pull or feel, reach with hands and arms; climb or balance, stoop, kneel, crouch, or crawl, and talk or hear.
  • The employee must regularly lift and/or move up to ten (10) pounds and occasionally lift and/or move up to twenty-five (25) pounds.

Pay and Benefits Disclosure:

The salary range for this role is $100,000 -$150,000 and is based on experience and qualifications. Certain roles are eligible for annual bonus. These awards are allocated based on company and individual performance. We offer employees access to healthcare benefits, a 401(k) plan and company match, short term and long-term disability coverage, life insurance, wellbeing benefits and paid time off among others. Employees accrue up to 120 hours in their first year. Your accrual rate increases after your first year. We also offer 6 paid holidays.
