Job Summary
Strategically pursues, develops, grows and maintains, new customers while managing selected previously established customers. Responsible for customer relations and the interface with EPC.
Job Duties
- Creatively gather market and customer information from both customers and industry related sources
- Design pointed strategies to meet targeted customer’s internal needs that likewise serve EPC objectives
- Provide recommendations based on internal and external dynamics and customer / application factors
- Design, implement, monitor and upgrade customer action plans that meet EPC long term goals
- Maintain strategic and healthy customer interfaces while building strong relationships at multiple levels
- Accurately administer all necessary process documents related to customer information
- Adhere to 5S standards (i.e. maintain an organized, clean and efficient work area)
- Follow all Safety, Environmental and Quality policies and procedures
- Perform other related duties as assigned
Experience and Education
- Proficient in assessing market dynamics, appropriate customer fit, suitable applications and potential revenue growth within those perimeters
- Proven in developing personal relationships and building trust to further advance company objectives
- Perform complex work under minimal supervision while mitigating negative internal impacts
- Handle multifaceted customer issues and conflicts while appropriately involving management as necessary.
- Possess comprehensive and detailed knowledge of the plastics industry and various related technologies
- Typically requires a bachelor's degree with 5 to 7 years of related industry experience
