General Summary:
The Associate, Talent Development role provides facilitation and admin support to Talent Development, ultimately supporting enterprise-wide development and learning. Duties include facilitating as needed, assisting in program development, and course evaluation. Responsible for the oversight and administration of the Learning Management System to meet the organization's compliance obligations and to promote an environment of continuous learning. Responsible for the oversight and administration of the Volunteer Time Off benefit. Supports Talent and Diversity & Inclusion related expense management including monthly reporting and vendor management.
Duties and Responsibilities:
1. Provide end-user support for HCA's Learning Management System (LMS). Identify and investigate reported issues and resolve and respond to end user inquires with service level agreements (SLA's).
2. Assist with and/or independently facilitate various development trainings using multiple delivery methods for successful knowledge and skills transfer. Delivery includes planning, preparing, coordinating of training sessions, and maintain training records.
3. Provide end-user support and fund management for HCA's Volunteer Time Off (VTO) benefit. Verify and follow up with employees and request disbursement of funds within service level agreements (SLA's).
4. Support and execute on HR projects as assigned.
5. Maintain budget and vendor management for Talent team.
6. Reviews and updates training guides and policies on a yearly basis to ensure current.
7. Perform all other projects/duties as assigned.
Knowledge and Skills:
• Strong communication skills (verbal, presentation, listening and written) with all levels in the organization.
• Ability to facilitate content while adapting approach and style to a variety of audiences and learning preferences.
• Exceptional time management, planning and organizational skills to meet deadlines, schedules, and objectives.
• Self-motivated and directed, with keen attention to detail.
Qualifications
• 3-5 years of experience in training/development required.
• Excel, PowerPoint, and Word experience required.
• Experience in public speaking and group facilitation preferred.
• High School Diploma.
• Certifications from ATD and/or SHRM in learning and development preferred.
Physical Requirements and Working Condition:
Employees in this class are subject to extended periods of sitting, standing, and walking, vision to monitor and moderate noise levels. Work is performed in an office environment.
