Job Description:
We are seeking a meticulous and skilled data analyst to support our marketplace quality audit program. In this role, you will inspect and interpret our audit data to ensure their accuracy, evaluate findings, develop processes and tools to correlate business data, and report results.
Responsibilities:
Conduct detailed data collection and analysis for assessing the effectiveness of our marketplace quality audit program and correlate results relative to business objectives.
Identify, analyze, and interpret trends or patterns in complex data sets to support audit objectives.
Use statistical methods to understand and evaluate data quality and perform data assurance auditing.
Review and interpret audit results, develop recommendations for data quality improvements, and execute validation procedures.
Develop comprehensive reports on data analysis findings and provide insights to the management.
Collaborate with cross-functional teams to understand data needs and deliver on those requirements.
Requirements:
Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Statistics, Engineering, or a related field.
Proven working experience as a Data Analyst or Business Data Analyst.
Technical expertise regarding data models, database design development, and data mining techniques.
Strong knowledge of and experience with reporting packages (Business Objects etc.), databases (SQL etc.), programming (XML, Javascript, or ETL frameworks).
Knowledge of statistics and experience using statistical packages for analyzing datasets (Excel, SPSS, SAS etc.)
Strong analytical skills with the ability to collect, organize, analyze, and disseminate significant amounts of information with attention to detail and accuracy.
Excellent communication and presentation skills for reporting to stakeholders.
Strong problem-solving skills, a proactive attitude, and the ability to handle ad-hoc reporting and data analysis requests.
Experience in data modeling, SQL, and data warehousing is preferred.
Prior experience in the field of quality assurance would be an added advantage.
