Job Overview: We are seeking a skilled and experienced ServiceNow Business Analyst to join our team part time. As a ServiceNow Business Analyst, you will be responsible for collaborating with stakeholders to understand business requirements, analyzing processes, and designing solutions using the ServiceNow platform. You will play a critical role in translating business needs into technical requirements, configuring ServiceNow modules, and supporting the implementation of IT Service Management (ITSM) processes. The ideal candidate will possess strong analytical skills, business acumen, and expertise in ServiceNow platform capabilities.
Responsibilities:
- Collaborate with stakeholders to gather and analyze business requirements for ServiceNow implementations and enhancements.
- Conduct workshops, interviews, and meetings to elicit and document business needs, objectives, and constraints.
- Translate business requirements into functional and technical specifications for ServiceNow configurations and customizations.
- Design and configure ServiceNow modules, including Incident Management, Change Management, Problem Management, and Request Fulfillment, to meet business needs.
- Define and document ITSM processes, workflows, and procedures within the ServiceNow platform.
- Work closely with ServiceNow administrators and developers to implement and test solutions based on business requirements.
- Perform data analysis and validation to ensure accuracy and completeness of information within the ServiceNow instance.
- Develop and maintain ServiceNow reports, dashboards, and KPIs to monitor process performance and business outcomes.
- Provide training and support to end-users on ServiceNow functionality, best practices, and process workflows.
- Act as a liaison between business stakeholders and technical teams, facilitating communication and collaboration throughout the project lifecycle.
- Participate in project planning, estimation, and prioritization activities to ensure successful delivery of ServiceNow initiatives.
- Stay current with ServiceNow platform updates, new features, and industry best practices to drive continuous improvement and innovation.
Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Information Technology, or related field (or equivalent experience).
- Proven experience as a Business Analyst working with the ServiceNow platform.
- Strong understanding of IT Service Management (ITSM) principles, processes, and best practices.
- Proficiency in analyzing business requirements, documenting functional and technical specifications, and translating them into ServiceNow solutions.
- Hands-on experience with ServiceNow modules such as Incident Management, Change Management, Problem Management, and Request Fulfillment.
- Familiarity with ServiceNow development methodologies, including Agile and Waterfall.
- Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to understand complex processes and identify areas for improvement.
- Strong communication skills, with the ability to effectively interact with stakeholders at all levels of the organization.
- Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced environment, managing multiple priorities and deadlines.
- ServiceNow certifications such as Certified System Administrator (CSA) or Certified Implementation Specialist (CIS) are preferred but not required.
