Business Analyst (Hybrid)

Overview

Seeking an experienced Business Analyst to support our client at the Terminal Operations Center at Newark Liberty International Airport (EWR). The role is primarily in-person business and technical support.

This role is 50% onsite and 50% remote.

Key Responsibilities

Technical Support Tasks

• Respond to service tickets submitted via Jira Service Desk, including following up with client personnel to refine requirements.
• Participate in technical ticket review meetings with client personnel.

Business Support Tasks

• Map business processes using flow charts and swim lanes.
• Summarize data using tabular and graphical tools (typically Excel and PowerPoint, respectively).
• Conduct effective business communications in verbal and written media following established communication guidelines.
• Support the creation of business deliverables related to collaborative innovation roadmap.
• Co-present materials with client personnel.
• Manage the relationship with the client and relevant stakeholders.
• Establish and maintain relationships with third parties/vendors.
• Meet with clients to take detailed ordering briefs and clarify specific requirements of each project.
•  Attend regular internal meetings with the client, including training on client systems as needed and potentially involving international travel (valid passport required).
• Attend meetings with client SMEs to learn about system capabilities, including best practices at other client airports.

Qualifications

• BS degree in Management Information Systems (MIS), Information Technology (IT), or a related field.
• At least 3 years of Business Analyst experience in a technical environment.
• Experience with Power BI or similar software (preferred).
• Advanced to Expert skills with PowerPoint, Excel, and Word (required).
• Excellent client-facing and internal communication skills.
• Values clients and vendors and responds to their needs as they arise.
• Possession of a valid driver’s license and reliable transportation to carry out site visits.
• Experience in working with Tier 1 and Tier 2 domestic airport clients (plus).
• Experience in Airport Operations (plus).
