Overview
Seeking an experienced Business Analyst to support our client at the Terminal Operations Center at Newark Liberty International Airport (EWR). The role is primarily in-person business and technical support.
This role is 50% onsite and 50% remote.
Key Responsibilities
Technical Support Tasks
- Respond to service tickets submitted via Jira Service Desk, including following up with client personnel to refine requirements.
- Participate in technical ticket review meetings with client personnel.
Business Support Tasks
- Map business processes using flow charts and swim lanes.
- Summarize data using tabular and graphical tools (typically Excel and PowerPoint, respectively).
- Conduct effective business communications in verbal and written media following established communication guidelines.
- Support the creation of business deliverables related to collaborative innovation roadmap.
- Co-present materials with client personnel.
- Manage the relationship with the client and relevant stakeholders.
- Establish and maintain relationships with third parties/vendors.
- Meet with clients to take detailed ordering briefs and clarify specific requirements of each project.
- Attend regular internal meetings with the client, including training on client systems as needed and potentially involving international travel (valid passport required).
- Attend meetings with client SMEs to learn about system capabilities, including best practices at other client airports.
Qualifications
- BS degree in Management Information Systems (MIS), Information Technology (IT), or a related field.
- At least 3 years of Business Analyst experience in a technical environment.
- Experience with Power BI or similar software (preferred).
- Advanced to Expert skills with PowerPoint, Excel, and Word (required).
- Excellent client-facing and internal communication skills.
- Values clients and vendors and responds to their needs as they arise.
- Possession of a valid driver’s license and reliable transportation to carry out site visits.
- Experience in working with Tier 1 and Tier 2 domestic airport clients (plus).
- Experience in Airport Operations (plus).
