Job Description: We are seeking a seasoned Business Systems Analyst (BSA) to join our team for a contract position. The ideal candidate will have extensive experience in gathering technical requirements, preparing specifications, and collaborating with both business and technical teams to deliver efficient design solutions.
Responsibilities:
- Operate as a Senior BSA with at least 7 years of experience, functioning as an individual contributor.
- Utilize SQL for data analysis to determine efficient design solutions.
- Demonstrate strong documentation skills, including the ability to write Technical Requirement Documents (TRDs), Operational Support Plans, and other BSA deliverables.
- Gather technical requirements and prepare specifications in collaboration with stakeholders.
- Conduct meetings with business stakeholders, communicate effectively with technical teams, and coordinate with testing teams.
- Demonstrate an understanding of data flows and possess knowledge of database concepts.
- Experience with Provider data projects is highly desirable.
- Write requirements for Provider data management feeds.
- Proficiency in SQL, provider data management, and data modeling.
- A developer background is preferred to showcase a strong systems experience.
- Previous experience in writing TRDs and technical specifications is required.
- Understanding of IT applications with front-end and back-end databases.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field.
- Minimum of 7 years of experience as a Business Systems Analyst.
- Proficiency in SQL for data analysis and querying.
- Experience in Healthcare industry is a plus.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills.
- Ability to work independently and collaboratively within a team environment.
- Familiarity with Agile methodologies is preferred.
- Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills.
- Attention to detail and the ability to prioritize tasks effectively.
