Core Responsibilities
- Serve as the central point of contact between automation configuration team and business process SMEs
- Gather and review existing process documentation with process SMEs
- Analyze and clearly document business process requirements for the automation build including exception handling scenarios and process metrics such as volumes, SLAs, and cycle times
- Work with business process SMEs to identify potential reengineering opportunities to streamline the use of automation (e.g., use of an application interface vs. a user screen)
- Work with configuration analysts in the collection and documentation of solution design requirements
- Document operational run books that describe the steps of the automated process and exception scenarios
- Facilitate user acceptance testing and support remediation of production defects
- Deliver training to the business process SMEs and their teams on performing the new process using automation
- Align risk and control processes into day to day responsibilities to monitor and mitigate risk
- Experience with business/system analysis and requirements documentation using agile methodology
- Must have strong experience/knowledge of JIRA and ability to organize business and functional requirements into EPIC, stories and maintain product backlog
- Ability to describe non-technical details to a technical audience
- Hands on experience with Power BI is a huge plus
- Proficiency with Microsoft Suite (Word, Excel, Visio, Project) as documentation and visualization skills are critical to this role
- Awareness of automation design and development considerations including Agile methodologies
- Experience in banking, capital markets, or financial operations preferred
- Awareness about projects with API development, data migration, integration with external systems
