Role:Business Analyst (Capital Markets Back Office/Funds Accounting)
Work Location: Onsite (Boston, MA)
Job Description:
- 5 to 10 years if experience in Securities and Capital markets working with in the BFSI industry / client.
- Experience with financial data (knowledge of a trade lifecycle, exposure to different types of data such as positions, transactions, general ledger and income across asset classes including derivatives)
- Ability to write SQL queries to select data, group data and map data points from source to reports.
- Experience within depth data analysis with the ability to review many different data sets to determine common components and define normalization strategy
- Apply functional business knowledge when deriving platform requirements
- Ability to gain understanding of data and transform into data marts that are useful to the client/consumer
- Ability to perform gap analysis between source of data and existing data model to determine model additions
- Previous experience implementing software or data services
- Effective communicator – can summarize succinctly and can provide details when needed.
- Team oriented – capable of working in a global setting.
- Detail oriented and strong sense of responsibility.
- Flexible and can adapt easily to changing/evolving role requirements.
