About this opportunity:
Cenovus is currently looking for a Business Analyst for the Dublin, Ohio location. Reporting to the acting Manager of UPSM Information Delivery, the successful candidate will get hands-on experience supporting, developing, and maintaining various business applications and integrations and acting liaison between the business and IT. This role is hybrid 4 days in the office, 1 day remote.

Responsibilities:
- Support ETRM system (RightAngle), various tools (PROS, T4, DTN, FuelSeller, eStream, Atlas), and business processes used by front, middle, and back-office departments to market, move, settle, and account for the purchase and sales of refined products.
- Proactively monitor system functions, tasks, interfaces, data integrity, etc.
- Research and resolve issues with deals/contacts, pricing, invoicing, accounts payable, master data, interfaces, etc.
- Configure/design new business activity in existing tools and systems.
- Gather, refine, and develop business requirements of current and future tools and systems.
- Partner with IT on technical solutions.
- Liaise with software vendors regarding functionality, enhancements, roadmaps, etc.
- Liaise with project teams providing technical support, data requirements, business processes, etc.
- Provide data/reporting for audit requests.
- Perform testing, provide training, and create documentation for business processes, tools, and systems.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's Degree in MIS or Engineering from an accredited institution.
- Working knowledge of SQL or other query/reporting language.
Preferred Qualifications:
- 3+ years of related work experience.
- Experience reporting, processing, and analyzing sales/financial data.
- Experience with system implementations and integrations.
- Experience with ETRM systems, BOL/ticketing systems, and data engineering/science tools.
- Experience in refined products marketing/manufacturing/logistics
- Proficient with Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Visio, PowerPoint, Project, and SharePoint).
- Ability to learn new systems, implement solutions, and troubleshoot issues.
- Resourceful, utilizes tools, resources, and experience to solve problems.
- Proficient in performing ad hoc analysis of large amounts of data with limited direction.
