JPMorgan Chase Corporate Real Estate is responsible for a worldwide occupancy portfolio of 75 million square feet across 61 countries in over 6,500 properties. Specifically, the position provides support to the Global Real Estate (GRE) Global Head of Engineering and Building Operations as well as other senior leaders within Property Management.
This position requires knowledge and background related to engineering aspects of critical systems and property operations. An ideal candidate will have extensive experience with BMS, EPMS, Lighting, IoT devices, and managing mechanical operations of a portfolio of high-visibility properties.
Job responsibilities:
Supporting the various regions in the implementation and maintenance of Building Management/Energy Systems/IoT devices and Engineering related to JPMC Global Real Estate
Act as global program manager and Subject Matter Expert for all types of building automation systems and industrial control systems
Responsible for developing and implementing and enforcing a consistent framework for designing and constructing these systems, including technology standardization, compliance with JPMC cyber security requirements, consistent functionality and specifications, procurement methods, and continuity of business.
Interface with building operations teams, Global Information Technology teams, and project management teams globally to provide close support throughout the development and implementation of the framework and individual projects.
Act as application owner for all existing building automation software, interfacing with vendors and IT teams to manage the platforms, changes and updates
Participate in project teams as Intelligent Building Platform (IBP) lead for development and construction of key projects, support all other implementations as Subject Matter Expert for new standards
Maintain vigilance of new technologies in the marketplace and evaluate as potential enhancements/ efficiency improvements over existing systems
Develop On-Net regional or global solutions for new projects to streamline the Intelligent Building design, specification, and procurement process
Act as top-level expert support to resolve incidents involving Intelligent Building systems or other building technology issues relating to controls operation, communications, programming, alarming, and recovery.
Required qualifications, capabilities, and skills:
10 years of related experience
OSHA30 Certification
Strong IT background, Dell Enterprise Servers, Cisco Firewalls, and Industrial Ethernet Managed Switches.
Strong knowledge of Modbus TCP/RTU, BACnet IP/MSTP, SNMP, and OPC protocols
Ability to comprehend and interpret instructions, short correspondence, and memos and ask clarifying questions to ensure understanding
Ability to write routine reports and correspondence
Ability to respond to common inquiries or complaints from clients, co-workers, and/or supervisor
Ability to effectively present information to an internal department and/or large groups of employees
Requires basic knowledge of financial terms and principles
Requires intermediate analytical skills
Proficient with Microsoft Office Outlook, Word, Excel, and PowerPoint
Knowledge of OSHA standards
Operates with high level of integrity and ethical conduct
Preference will be given to those applicants with previous datacenter experience and maintaining a medium to large commercial or industrial facility
Understanding of emergency power systems, UPS, Generators, and Fire Life Safety Systems.
Detail oriented with the ability to multitask
Global travel to remote buildings as needed
