```Job Description```

As a Construction Inspector at Zenith Engineers, you will play a crucial role in ensuring the safety and compliance of exterior elevated elements (EEEs), such as balconies, decks, and walkways, in residential buildings. This position involves conducting thorough inspections, preparing detailed reports, and recommending necessary repairs or modifications to comply with California's legislations. You will work under the supervision of a California Licensed Engineer.

```Responsibilities```

- Conduct detailed inspections of balconies, decks, stairways, and other external elevated elements to assess their condition, safety, and compliance.

- Prepare comprehensive inspection reports that include findings, photographs, and recommendations for repairs or preventive maintenance.

- Communicate effectively with property owners, managers, and HOAs regarding inspection findings and recommended corrective actions.

- Coordinate with engineers and construction teams to ensure that repair work complies with state regulations and industry standards.

- Stay updated with the latest regulations, codes, and best practices related to balcony and external elevated element inspections.

- Participate in training and development opportunities to enhance expertise in building safety and inspection techniques.

```Qualifications```

- Professional certification or licensure related to building inspections or a willingness to obtain such certification preferred.

- Experience in building inspections, construction, or engineering.

- Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to prepare detailed reports and present findings clearly.

- Proficiency in using inspection tools, software for report preparation, and digital photography.

- Ability to work independently and manage inspection schedules efficiently.
