ResponsibilitiesThe Theater Manager oversees the Concessions Staff in the Student Life Cinema nightly during main and phantom theater showings.
Sells tickets in the Box Office using both cash and credit card, reconciling reports each night.
Uses the Fusion Swipe system to keep track of audience attendance.
Oversees & understands all Concessions staff responsibilities, providing feedback as needed.
Trains new staff on concessions-related procedures.
Writes a nightly report about all operations, including attendance, staffing, etc.
Makes recommendations for procedure changes to the Operations Director.
Communicates all maintenance work orders & equipment repair needs to appropriate parties.
Attends weekly Operations meetings.
Provides excellent customer service to patrons and direct communication with organization leaders for cinema socials, co-sponsorships, and events.
Supervises maintenance of daily inventory and cleaning responsibilities.
Maintains organization & cleanliness of all areas of stock, workspaces, and customer areas.
Ensures appropriate equipment changes when needed like CO2 tanks, oil, and soda syrups.
Participates in annual ASLC Staff Training.
Other duties as assigned.
High School Diploma or equivalent.
Familiarity with ASLC operations
Preferred QualificationsLeadership experience.
Prior ASLC Programming experience.

This is a position in the Askew Student Life Center Student Union reporting to the ASLC Program Manager.
Interviews will take place in late January/early February 2023, training will take place in March/April 2023 with the position beginning summer/fall 2023.
