Responsibilities:
- Maintain accurate and up-to-date financial records for clients
- Prepare and analyze financial statements, including balance sheets, income statements, and cash flow statements
- Conduct general ledger reconciliation to ensure accuracy of financial data
- Process payroll, prepare quarterly reports, initiate deposits and ensure compliance with relevant laws and regulations
- Prepare financial reports for management and external stakeholders
- Collaborate with auditors during annual audits
- Stay updated on financial concepts and industry best practices
Experience:
- Previous bookkeeping experience is required, minimum 2 years, willing to provide additional training
- Strong knowledge of public accounting principles and practices
- Proficiency in general ledger reconciliation techniques
- Experience in payroll processing and compliance
- Proficient in using accounting software, such as Sage, QuickBooks or Accountants World
- Excellent understanding of financial concepts and ability to interpret financial data accurately
- Strong analytical skills and attention to detail
- Ability to prepare comprehensive financial reports, including balance sheet reconciliations
