We are a National Real Estate Management company at a convenient Jericho, Long Island location and have an immediate opening in our bookkeeping department. The ideal candidate must have a strong understanding and experience with accounting and bookkeeping principals. Candidate must be able to operate effectively in a team environment with time sensitive deadlines with strict attention to deal.
We seek a minimum of 5 years of relevant experience and proficient with excel and general ledger accounting software Timberline; Duties include monthly bank reconciliations, recording monthly Interest & Dividends, managing, reporting, and reconciling daily cash transactions to Timberline and our Cash Book in Excel, maintain banking relationships, assist controller with various analysis and reporting. An understanding of bank products and familiarity with investment products is a plus. Monitoring tenant periodic reporting of Sales.
