Associate Family Law Attorney

Description:

We are looking for a motivated Associate Attorney with exceptional negotiation, research, and communication skills. The Attorney will develop relationships with clients as they establish legal needs, provide counsel, help them understand their legal options, and represent them in court and negotiations. You will also conduct research when necessary, prepare and review legal documents, and perform other duties to ensure that clients receive the best and most cost-effective legal solutions.
To succeed as an Attorney, you should be knowledgeable, prompt, attentive, and proactive. You should also be an excellent communicator, negotiator, and problem solver.
Duties include, but are not limited to, the following:

• Prepares and drafts legal documents for filing with appropriate entities and necessary correspondence.
• Timely draft pleadings and motions, including judgments and orders
• Correspond/communicate with attorneys, court personnel, and clients regarding cases
• Shall ensure the accuracy of all documents prepared as though this was your own family at risk
• Shall promptly appear in court on all cases assigned, and let the team know if you need coverage or help before the hearing so we can adequately prepare and communicate any changes to the client
• Shall handle and/or review all aspects of cases assigned to them
• Performs administrative duties as necessary including filing, mailing, organizes files and pleadings
• Conduct legal research for issues on your cases (and/or discuss what you need at team meetings with the rest of the staff)
• Work closely with the rest of the team to ensure the best possible client experience
• Salary will depend on experience, and we understand that rockstars do not come cheap
