Bookkeeper Accountant

We are looking for a skilled, self-motivated Bookkeeper to maintain and support multiple clients. This may include full-charge bookkeeping (Payroll, A/P, A/R, Quarterly Reports, and Financial Reporting through QuickBooks Online) or as a support resource for clients using QBO. Other duties may include various office tasks associated with our Financial Planning Department and/or support during Tax Season. An interest in and/or experience with Individual/Business Tax Preparation would be advantageous.

Possible equity ownership opportunities with Stratus Financial may be available.

Our ideal candidate holds an accounting degree and has recently worked (within the past 3 months) in QuickBooks Online for a minimum of 3 years. Knowledge of the Microsoft Suite and QuickBooks is required.

This is a Full-Time, in office position (Part-Time may be available, but not guaranteed). Office hours are Monday through Friday 9:00 a.m. - 6:00PM. Flexibility with scheduled time is an option. Background check along with drug screening will be required prior to employment.

AFTER a 90-day period, partial WFH may become available to you, but it is not guaranteed for this position.

Compensation based on experience, Starting total annual compensation starts at $42,000.

Additional Requirements

• Bookkeeping experience - 3+ years

• Solid understanding of basic bookkeeping, accounting & payroll principles

• Proven ability to calculate, post and manage accounting figures and financial records

• Data entry skills along with a knack for numbers

• Proficiency in Microsoft Suite

• Associate degree in accounting, Finance or Business Administration Disciplines

• Experience with Income Tax Return preparation (or interest in learning)
