Full Charge Bookkeeper
We are seeking a friendly, relationship oriented individual to join our team in a full charge bookkeeping and light HR role. Ideal candidates have worked in similar roles for medium sized businesses and are within easy commute to our Henderson office. Sorry, no remote work.
This position requires about 6 Days per month presently. We're flexible on which days but it would need to be during business hours and consistent week to week (e.g. every Tuesday.) We also have some hard deliverables the first week of the month (commissions and payroll) which need to be completed by date. Changes a bit every month but figure 2 days in the 1st through 4th time frame depending on how the calendar falls. This is not an entry level position. Please read qualifications carefully.
Job Description
Your primary responsibility will be full-cycle bookkeeping and light HR. This includes accounts payable, payroll, commission calculation, bank& account reconciliation and vendor management. There will be extensive vendor, employee and contractor interaction and you will need to solve problems on a day to day basis.
Job Qualifications
• An AA degree in Accounting or related field is preferred
• Experience using QuickBooks, Peachtree, Sage or similar accounting systems
• Three to five years of full-cycle accounting and bookkeeping experience
• Excellent attention to detail with strong, natural follow-up skill
• Possess strong oral and written communication skills (4 year college preferred)
• Advanced skills in MS Word, Excel, Outlook, Power Point and technology in general
• Excellent problem solver
• Valid driver's license and vehicle to get to work
Compensation
$40-$50 per hour DOE
