Bookkeeper Accounting Assistant

CBR specializes in helping small businesses understand the fundamentals of their internal accounting and the impact it can have on their business.

We are currently looking for a hard-working, reliable, detail-oriented individual who is able to work independently to assist us with the day to day operations of the business.

Details about the position:

· Immediate opening for part-time position

· Minimum of 2 years of bookkeeping/accounting experience required

· Quick Books experience required

· Hourly Rate or Salary based upon experience

· A pre-employment criminal background check and credit check will be conducted

Job duties and responsibilities include:

· Accounts Payable & Accounts Receivable

· Cash Management including bank deposits and receipt of money

· Monthly account reconciliations including bank, credit card and loan accounts

· Process bi-weekly payroll for multiple clients including all required quarterly payroll tax returns

· Process monthly/quarterly sales and use tax returns

· Generate 1099's and W-2's at year end

· Communicate with clients and vendors as needed via email, fax, and by phone

· Monthly preparation of financial statements and reports, including the profit and loss statement and balance sheet and other reports as requested
