Job description

Objective:

Pharaoh Inc aims to recruit a dedicated and experienced Bookkeeper who will be instrumental in elevating our payroll and human resources functions. The objective is to onboard a skilled professional capable of ensuring seamless payroll processes, implementing effective HR policies, and contributing to the overall success of our organization. Responsibilities:

Payroll:

● Responsible for hourly and semi - monthly payroll preparation. Duties include monitoring and maintenance of payroll programs, reviewing employee time-card information, ensuring accuracy of payroll information prior to processing.

● Responsible for resolution of employees’ payroll issues and taking appropriate actions.

● Track time and attendance according to company policies to include administration of attendance violations.

● Administration of company Paid Time Off Policy (PTO) for hourly and salaried personnel, as it relates to payroll administration.

Recruitment and Onboarding:

● Coordinate the recruitment process, including job postings, resume screening, and interviewing.

● Facilitate the onboarding process for new hires, ensuring a smooth transition into the organization.

Policy Development and Compliance:

● Stay current on HR laws and regulations to ensure the organization's compliance.

● Assist in the development and implementation of HR policies and procedures.

Training and Development:

● Identify training needs within the organization and coordinate training programs.

● Support employee development initiatives and career growth opportunities.

Performance Management:

● Administer performance appraisal processes and provide guidance to managers on performance-related matters.

● Collaborate with leadership to establish and maintain performance improvement plans.

Benefits Administration:

● Administer employee benefit programs, including health insurance, retirement

plans, and other perks.

● Assist employees with benefit-related inquiries and issues.

HR Information System (HRIS) Management:

● Maintain accurate and up-to-date employee records in the HRIS.

● Generate reports and analyze HR data to support decision-making.

Conflict Resolution:

● Mediate and resolve conflicts within the workplace, fostering a positive and collaborative environment.

Qualifications:

● Proven experience as a Bookkeeper, HR Specialist, Payroll Specialist or similar role.

● Excellent interpersonal and communication skills.

● Ability to maintain confidentiality and handle sensitive information.

● Detail-oriented with strong organizational and multitasking abilities.

● Proficient in google suite.

● Effective time management skills to meet payroll deadlines and handle multiple tasks efficiently.

● Strong analytical skills to interpret financial data and provide insights for decision-making.

Compensation:

● Salary: $35 per hour

● Part-time/Full-time: 20-40 hours weekly

● Benefits: Will be discussed in the second interview.
