Bookkeeper
Shift: 1st Shift, Monday-Friday
Location: Iowa
Compensation: $20-$25/hr depending on experience
We, Sedona Staffing Moline as the employer, are recruiting for a temporary Bookkeeper position for an immediate need with a local Quad City Business.
Responsibilities:
* Perform basic accounting procedures (A/R, A/P, G/L)
* Process accounts receivable/payable and handle payroll in a timely manner.
* Fact-checking accounting data.
* Assist in the collections process including communication with customers to address any past due invoices and provide updates to management.
* Enter data, maintain records and create reports and financial statements.
* Ensure compliance with relevant laws and regulations in all administrative and financial activities.
Requirements:
* Associate's degree in Accounting, Finance, or business-related field preferred
* 3+ years of bookkeeping or related experience
* Solid understanding of basic bookkeeping and accounting payable/receivable principles.
* Strong computer aptitude, including expertise with Microsoft Excel.
* ERP/Accounting systems knowledge preferred.
* Ability to work independently while managing multiple projects and deadlines.
* High level of attention to detail and accuracy.
