We have home-based cases in Davie, Miami Beach, and Fort Lauderdale.
Responsibilities:
Assessment and Evaluation:
- Conduct diagnostic evaluations and assessments to determine the needs of individuals with autism spectrum disorder (ASD).
- Collaborate with other professionals and caregivers to gather relevant information.
Behavior Intervention:
- Develop and implement behavior intervention plans (BIPs) based on individualized goals.
- Provide direct behavior therapy to clients in their home environment during morning and afternoon sessions.
Data Collection and Analysis:
- Collect and analyze behavioral data to track progress and make data-driven decisions.
- Modify intervention strategies as needed to achieve desired outcomes.
Training and Support:
- Train parents, caregivers, and other team members on behavior management techniques.
- Provide ongoing support and guidance to ensure consistent implementation of interventions.
Documentation:
- Maintain accurate and thorough records, including session notes, progress reports, and treatment summaries.
- Comply with all ethical and legal requirements related to documentation.
Collaboration:
- Collaborate with other professionals (e.g., BCBA, speech therapists, occupational therapists) to create comprehensive treatment plans.
- Attend team meetings and participate in case reviews.
Professional Development:
- Stay informed about the latest research and best practices in the field of applied behavior analysis (ABA).
- Pursue continuing education opportunities to maintain certification.
Qualifications:
BCaBA Certification:
- Must hold a valid Board Certified Assistant Behavior Analyst (BCaBA) certification.
- Familiarity with the BACB (Behavior Analyst Certification Board) guidelines.
Experience:
- Prior experience working with individuals with ASD preferred.
- Experience conducting assessments and developing behavior intervention plans.
Skills:
- Strong communication skills (verbal and written).
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Proficient in data collection and analysis.
Availability:
- Available for part-time work during morning and afternoon hours.
W2 and Contractor position available.
