OVERVIEW
We are seeking a highly skilled and dedicated Board CertifiedBehavior Analyst (BCBA) to join our team. As a BCBA, you will play a crucial role in providing diagnostic evaluations and behavioral therapy to individuals with developmental disabilities. Your expertise in applied behavior analysis will be instrumental in helping patients achieve their goals and improve their quality of life.
DUTIES
- Conduct diagnostic evaluations to assess the needs of individuals with developmental disabilities
- Develop and implement individualized treatment plans based on the results of assessments
- Provide behavioral therapy and interventions to address challenging behaviors and promote skill development
- Collaborate with families, caregivers, and other professionals to ensure continuity of care
- Monitor progress and make adjustments to treatment plans as needed
- Maintain accurate and thorough medical documentation
- Stay up-to-date with the latest research and best practices in the field of applied behavior analysis
SKILLS
To excel in this role, you should have the following skills:
- Strong knowledge and experience in applied behavior analysis
- Ability to conduct diagnostic evaluations and assessments
- Proficiency in developing and implementing individualized treatment plans
- Excellent communication skills to collaborate effectively with patients, families, and other professionals
- Attention to detail in maintaining accurate medical documentation
- Ability to provide compassionate patient care while maintaining professional boundaries
QUALIFICATIONS:
- Board Certification as a Behavior Analyst (BCBA)
- Experience working with individuals with developmental disabilities
- Knowledge of special education laws and regulations
