Job Summary:
We are seeking a highly skilled and dedicated Board Certified Assistant Behavior Analyst (BCaBA) to join our team. As a Board Certified Assistant Behavior Analyst (BCaBA), you will be responsible for providing behavioral therapy services to individuals with autism and other developmental disabilities. You will work closely with clients, families, and other professionals to develop and implement effective treatment plans.
Duties:
- Conduct assessments to identify the needs and strengths of individuals with autism and other developmental disabilities
- Develop individualized treatment plans based on assessment results
- Implement behavior intervention strategies and techniques to address challenging behaviors
- Provide direct behavioral therapy services to clients, including teaching new skills and reducing problem behaviors
- Collect data on client progress and make data-based decisions to modify treatment plans as needed
- Collaborate with families, caregivers, and other professionals to ensure consistency in treatment across settings
- Train and supervise behavior technicians or other staff members working with clients
- Maintain accurate and up-to-date documentation of client progress, including session notes, behavior plans, and reports
Skills:
- Board CertifiedBehavior Analyst (BCBA) certification required
- Strong knowledge of special education principles and practices
- Familiarity with medical terminology related to autism and developmental disabilities
- Proficiency in behavioral therapy techniques, including Applied Behavior Analysis (ABA)
- Experience working with individuals with autism or developmental disabilities
- Ability to collect and analyze data to inform treatment decisions
- Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written
- Strong organizational skills and attention to detail
- Ability to work effectively as part of a multidisciplinary team
