Job Description
LHH Recruitment Solutions is looking for an experienced Billing Specialist (Non-Medical) for a growing client in the Cleveland Ohio area. Ideal candidates will have at least 2 or more years of billing experience along with strong technical skills and good attention to detail. This position will be direct hire and pay between $20 and $23.50 per hour.
Duties
- Organize daily information received from co-workers and location personnel for our multiple steel processing locations/companies customer or customer service in response to questions on current billing batches or for future billing batches.
- Utilize computerized business system software to perform tasks for our multiple steel processing locations/companies of invoice draft generation, companion report printing, invoice editing/correction following review against customer price cards, printing of invoices, exporting of invoicing batch from business system, and printing of other related reporting; importing of invoicing batch to accounting system account receivable module; transmission of invoices to customers electronically, by e-mail or U.S. mail as requested by customer
- Prepare spreadsheets and/or reconciliations in support of processes performed
- Organize and maintain files in support of information received and accounting processes
- Respond appropriately and timely to internal inquiries from management personnel, co-workers, location personnel and externally from customers
- Maintain filing of required accounting documents
- Assist with other projects/tasks, as required
Requirements:
- 2-year degree with accounting emphasis or 4 years recent hands-on accounting experience
- Skilled in the use of Microsoft Office suite of products, specifically Excel
- Detail oriented and organized
- Experience with automated accounting systems
- Familiarity with a general ledger chart of accounts and basic accounting
- Familiarity with accounts receivable and invoicing processing and supportive tasks
- Ability to work independently, be a self-starter, energetic and able to follow instructions while working as a part of a team with emphasis on accuracy and timeliness.
- Ability to operate office equipment including 10-key calculator, personal computer & printer, copiers/scanners, and fax machines.
