```Job Overview```

We are seeking a detail-oriented and highly organized Billing Specialist to join our team on a part-time basis. As a Billing Specialist, you will be responsible for accurately and efficiently managing accounts receivable and ensuring timely payment collection. The ideal candidate will have strong analytical skills and be proficient in various accounting software programs.

```Duties```

- Assist with the monthly client invoicing process as requested

- Send and track invoices to clients with specific processing requests

- Monitor accounts receivable and follow up on outstanding payments via email and personal phone calls

- Assist with client account analysis to identify timing of retainer replenishment requests

- Collaborate with internal teams to resolve billing inquiries or disputes

- Maintain accurate records of billing activities including follow-up on new client engagement letters and retainer requests

```Skills```

To be successful in this role, you should possess the following skills:

- Proficiency in 10-key typing for data entry accuracy

- Customer service experience is a plus

- Knowledge of accounts receivable and collection processes

- Familiarity with accounting software such as QuickBooks, Quicken, or similar programs

- Strong attention to detail and ability to analyze data effectively

- Excellent organizational and time management skills

- Ability to work independently and meet deadlines

Job Type: Part-time

Pay: $19.71 - $20.92 per hour
