• Pay range from $33.00 - $38.00
• Full Time Non-Exempt Position
• Schedule Monday to Friday (Flexible Hours)
• Reporting to Janelle Lance

Summary Description:

The Billing Specialist oversees the tasks of sending invoices to clients and monitoring outstanding balances to ensure each account is paid on time and in full. They help our organization keep track of how much money is owed and by whom, often managing numerous client accounts at once. The ideal candidate must have excellent accounting skills as well as deep organizational skills to accurately handle all of the incoming payments, outgoing invoices, database updates, and more that make up their day-to-day responsibilities. On top of this meticulous attention to detail, the Billing Specialist must also possess excellent communication skills to answer questions for clients, solve their issues, and keep them updated with relevant account information.

Position duties and responsibilities include, but are not limited to:

• Send invoices and account updates to clients
• Keep an accurate record of client accounts and outstanding balances
• Track and release Progressive and Final Payment Waivers to the customers
• Address and solve client questions and issues
• Securely handle client data and payment information
• Provide regular, accurate reports of billing data
• Coordinate with multiple departments to release

Looking for someone who has:

• Familiar with billing portals (GC Pay, Textura, Ariba, etc.)
• Know how to create SOV’s
• Understanding of Progress billing
• Basic Excel formulas
• Experience with lien wavers
• Minimum of 2 years related experience in business-to-business billing processes.
• High School Diploma or GED required.
• Professional demeanor, able to interact with others with tact and respect.
• Strong oral and written communication skills.
• Intermediate Microsoft Excel and Word skills, in addition to use of Outlook.
• Ability to learn quickly and adapt to different Computer systems.
• Preferably have experience within the construction trade billing processes
