Billing Coordinator

Dallas Counseling and Treatment Center is a mental health practice with offices in Uptown Dallas, Rockwall, Plano, McKinney, and Denton, Texas. We are seeking a new full-time team member in our Billing Department responsible for insurance billing and verification, accounts receivable, communicating with patients and insurers about billing matters, and explaining insurance benefits. This position will work Monday - Friday 8:00am - 4:30pm.

Requirements:

• Previous work experience within the medical field (mental health a plus)
• Previous work experience in accounts receivable
• Working knowledge of health insurance
• Working knowledge of HIPAA
• Ability to work both independently and with a team
• Strong verbal and writing skills
• Outstanding attention to detail and time management
• Ability to recognize individual and systemic issues
• Excellent problem solving skills
• Ability to track data over multiple systems, providers, and sites

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $23.00 - $25.00 per hour

Expected hours: 40 per week
